About Our Foundation

IT PROJECTS: We support the next generation with IT tools so they can start applying new technologies now: people can get acquainted with 3D printers, 3D scanners, VR headsets, and DJI drones.

EDUCATION: Through several educational projects, we support people who want to learn how to use new technological tools. We run drone courses to help with piloting unmanned aerial vehicles.

IT COMPETITIONS: PARTICIPATION IN IT COMPETITIONS: Students connected with us regularly attend national and international robotics and IT competitions, where—thanks to our training and equipment—they achieve excellent results

ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTION & IT COMMUNITI: It's important for us to share our knowledge with Orosháza, the surrounding municipalities, and interested primary and secondary schools—on how to build with and teach new technologies to their students.

Story

AThe Németh Imre Foundation began its operations in 1996, at that time at the Kossuth Lajos Agricultural Vocational Secondary School. The foundation was established by the sons of the school's former biology and physical education teacher in his memory. Since its inception, it has provided support to multiple generations of students.

In 2018, the Foundation set the goal of supporting the students of the Technikum, Orosháza, and the surrounding settlements by acquiring IT equipment through grant applications.

As a result of these acquisitions, the students were able to compete continuously. Consequently, in the WRO — World Robot Olympiad — they finished in the top ten every year. They also delivered similarly strong performances in the EDU Robotics Cup. Our work is further marked by winning the Kodolányi Scholarship, the Rotary Scholarship, and the Invitech – Innomax Grand Prize.
