The future begins in the sky

Thanks to the cooperation between the school and the foundation, the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation again provided free A1/A3 drone pilot training this year for students of the Gyulai SzC Kossuth Lajos Technikum. At the end of the course, participating students passed their exams, allowing them to legally fly drones up to 25 kg across Europe.

According to the students, the biggest highlight was the practical flight, where they could put their newly acquired knowledge to the test in real conditions.

Melinda Mészáros, President of the Foundation, emphasized that this training format has already become a tradition at the school—last year it was open to students in law enforcement and public service, while this year it was offered to software development and testing students.

Building on this success, the plan is to make this innovative opportunity available to both tracks in the future.
