Our new robotics room was built through collaboration
On February 16, visitors to the Kossuth School could see robots, drones, and VR headsets at the inauguration ceremony of the school's new robotics room. First, the school principal, Attila Pörneki, welcomed the guests and emphasized what an important milestone this is in the institution's history. Then Melinda Mészáros, IT teacher at Kossuth and president of the Németh Imre Foundation, gave a greeting.
She highlighted that thanks to several grant supports from the foundation and the support of GySzC, they were able to equip a robotics room with devices worth 5 million HUF.
She said this example clearly shows how important it is to keep pace with progress—and if it happens among people and organizations willing to act, it can even lead to building a robotics classroom. She happily highlighted the opportunities the room provides: LEGO robots, VR headsets, DJI drones, and 3D printers, with which students can be prepared for the future.
" This opening is only the first part of our event series. We would like to invite you back to Kossuth for a future occasion, where we will explain where and how such grant funds can be obtained."
After the ceremony, guests were able to try the devices demonstrated by the students during the standing reception.
