NIA wins the Invitech – InnoMax Prize again in 2022
To support companies' and institutions' innovation efforts and motivate their technological development, the InnoMax Prize was established years ago—and this year, representatives of the winning organisations again received awards in three categories. Among them was Melinda Mészáros, a teacher at Kossuth School, representing the Németh Imre Foundation of Orosháza.
Created six years ago by Invitel (predecessor of Invitel Solutions), the InnoMax Prize aims to support Hungarian companies' innovation efforts and draw attention to their developments and achievements. Over the past years, the professional jury has recognised numerous completed projects. Among this year's laureates—introduced as a notable returning winner—was the Németh Imre Foundation of Orosháza, founded to support local students.
The foundation has been continuously expanding its equipment—from purchasing LEGO robots to acquiring VR headsets. With their application titled "InnoMax Innovation", they planned to procure a new-generation VR headset, enabling their already successful students to compete further in programming, robotics, and drone competitions. The award, granted by the InnoMax jury, was received on the foundation's behalf by Melinda Mészáros, teacher at the GySzC Kossuth Lajos Technikum, Vocational School and Dormitory.
In the coming period—on June 9, 16, and 23, between 15:00 and 18:00—a drone course will also be launched at Kossuth School for interested participants over 16, where they can obtain an A1/A3 drone licence.
