If you haven't seen the movie yet, give it a watch — and we'll introduce you to real Virtual Reality. You'll learn about the origins of VR, its advantages and disadvantages, and potential health risks. VR is increasingly woven into gaming; it's not at the Ready Player One level yet, but it's already part of everyday life in games and in education/training for demonstrating and practicing tasks.
What is VR, where did it start, and where might it end? Where could development lead, and how does it relate to Artificial Intelligence? How deep could that relationship become in the future? Could it be that, at the end of our lives, our consciousness returns to a VR-built world where an AI regulates our daily routine?
