Give Hope to Animals! – Real Help Through a Shared Effort

"Give hope to animals!" — this sentence has become more than a beautiful thought; it has turned into tangible support. As a foundation, we are truly happy to have been part of this program, and proud that our donation could help the daily work of shelters — to the joy of their residents. 😺🐶

Organized by the Gyulai SZC Kossuth Technikum, this initiative became an inspiring example of community solidarity. Thanks to our students, staff, supporters, and the Németh Imre Foundation, more than 130 kg of pet food was collected, along with plenty of canned food, blankets, toys, and little coats. These donations are not just items — each one represents care, responsibility, and genuine compassion.

The collected supplies were delivered to the Dél-Békés Animal Protection Association in Orosháza, as well as to a cat rescue organization in Tótkomlós, where dedicated people work every day — often quietly and under difficult circumstances. This time, however, it was clearly felt: they are not alone.

One of the most heartwarming parts of the program was the enthusiasm of the students, who truly made the cause their own. Teacher Éva Kis shared:

"I'm very proud of class 10/B: they donated 20 kg of food from their class fund, along with blankets and beds, and we also donated everything that belonged to my cat Lizi. What's more, they have also committed to visiting the shelter every month to help!" ❤️❤️

This says it all: this is not a one-time collection, but a long-term program that will continue throughout the year — something we are especially happy about. Because helping is not a campaign; it's a habit. And the more people make it a habit, the more animals will get a real chance.
