Robots Come to Life – Competition Highlights and a Demonstration at Eötvös

20/10/2026

Students at Eötvös József Catholic Primary School and Kindergarten enjoyed an exciting robotics demonstration in the school hall. Guided by their teacher, Melinda Mészáros, the students who competed in the international EduRobotics Cup 2026 shared their experiences and demonstrated the robots they had built and programmed.

During the demonstration, the audience learned about the competition task and observed the robots in action. The students' accounts offered an insight into the international competition and the work involved in preparing for it.

Our students achieved excellent results at the EduRobotics Cup 2026:

  • Tünde Rózsa and Martin Erős finished in 10th place.

  • Noel Gorondi and Zalán Paulik took 11th place.

We are proud of our students' achievements and delighted that they shared their knowledge and experiences with the school community. The demonstration gave their fellow students an opportunity to discover the exciting possibilities of building and programming robots.

Congratulations to the competitors and their teacher, Melinda Mészáros, on their achievements at the international competition and their impressive demonstration!
