Silver Grand Prize

30/05/2026

Students of the Software Development and Testing program at the Gyulai SZC Kossuth Lajos Technical School, Vocational School and Dormitory achieved an outstanding success at the EDU Student National Festival held this weekend in Gyula.

The team won the Silver Grand Prize in the Innovation category with their project entitled "Growing Up in a World Governed by Algorithms". Their competition video creatively explored the impact of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and algorithms on our everyday lives.

The members of the award-winning team were:

  • Hédi Stübe
  • Erik Gál
  • Sándor Csanyiga

The project was supported by the Németh Imre Foundation, which has been promoting digital skills, robotics, programming, and innovative technologies among young people for many years. Thanks to this support, the students were able to represent their school with a high-quality project at the national competition.

The venue itself provided a unique experience. The event was hosted by the Gyula Minigolf Club, known for its innovative design. Participants had the opportunity to play golf among neon-painted artworks in a spectacular visual environment. The combination of sport, art, and modern technology created a fitting setting for an innovation competition.

This achievement once again demonstrates that creativity, digital competencies, and teamwork can lead to success at a national level. The Silver Grand Prize is not only a recognition of the students' hard work but also a confirmation of the talent development efforts of both the school and the Németh Imre Foundation.

Congratulations to the team and their mentors on this excellent achievement!
