Thirty Years of Community, Memories and Experiences – The Jubilee NIA 30 Programme at Gyopárosfürdő

08/06/2026

The Németh Imre Foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary in a worthy and memorable way. The jubilee NIA 30 programme was held on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the Park Bath in Gyopárosfürdő, where current and former students, teachers, family members and guests spent a joyful and meaningful day together.

The aim of the event was not only to celebrate, but also to recall the history of the foundation, the memory of Mr. Imre Németh, and the values that have connected the school community for three decades.

The morning programmes focused on students, movement and shared experiences. In addition to the jubilee picnic, participants could enjoy beach volleyball, football, water games, aerobics, a disc-collecting speed competition, team rowing on inflatable mattresses, pebble painting, outdoor games and horse-carriage rides. The activities took place in a cheerful atmosphere, with lots of laughter and enthusiastic participation.

The programmes connected to the 30th anniversary of the Németh Imre Memorial Day had already brought the school community together earlier as well. Cooking together, fun skill-based tasks, city sports programmes, and football and basketball tournaments all made the day more colourful. Students from the Kossuth, Táncsics and Lutheran schools also took part in the events and joined the sports and community programmes with great enthusiasm.

The afternoon programmes made the celebration even richer. The performance of the Orosháza Majorette and Dance Sport Association, the jet-ski programme supported by Mechanitec Kft., the drone demonstration, the robotics track, pebble painting and the shared birthday cake all contributed to making the jubilee a true community celebration. The birthday cake was offered by master confectioner Zoltán Ficsor and was enjoyed by the participants by the water.

An important part of the event was the round-table discussion titled "NIA 30 – Past and Present". It provided an opportunity for former and current participants to look back on the history of the foundation, recall the figure of Mr. Imre Németh, and share their personal memories with one another.

The NIA 30 jubilee day proved that, even after three decades, the foundation still plays an active and community-building role. The programmes were not only about entertainment, but also about connecting the past, the present and the future: former students, current students, teachers, families and supporters.

We would like to thank everyone who came, participated, helped, supported, organised, or contributed in any way to making the 30th anniversary of the Németh Imre Foundation such a memorable and beautiful community celebration.
