Students of the Software Development and Testing program at the Gyulai SZC Kossuth Lajos Technical School, Vocational School and Dormitory achieved an outstanding success at the EDU Student National Festival held this weekend in Gyula.

We warmly invite all current and former students, family members, and anyone interested to celebrate the 30th anniversary of NIA on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the outdoor pools of Gyopárosfürdő.

The 30th anniversary of the Németh Imre Memorial Day was filled with cheerful and meaningful programmes. Cooking together, city sports activities, the football tournament, basketball, and various skill-based challenges all provided a great opportunity for community experiences and a joyful time together.

We warmly invite you to the NIA Németh Imre Day, which will take place on 15 May 2026 at the Gyulai SZC Kossuth Lajos Technical School, Vocational School and Dormitory.

In 2026, the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation once again presented the Németh Imre Award, which was awarded this year to Márk Sándor. The award includes financial support of 25,000 HUF. The prize was presented by Melinda Mészáros, president of the foundation.

Help the next generation start their future with modern knowledge! The NIA – Németh Imre Foundation supports students in the fields of IT, robotics, and drone technology, organizes competitions and training programs, and contributes to education with modern tools.

At the end of March 2026, Melinda Mészáros, president of the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation and IT teacher at the Gyulai SZC Kossuth Lajos Technikum, spent one week in Dublin במסגרת the Erasmus+ program. The training focused on the conscious and effective use of artificial intelligence and digital tools in education.

It is the year 2050, and the Gyulai SzC Kossuth student day is nothing like it used to be. As technology has advanced, school events have been completely transformed: artificial intelligence helps with the organization, and the programs have become more spectacular, interactive, and exciting than ever before.

The Skill Issue team supported by the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation (Hédi Stübe, Sándor Csanyiga, Erik Gál) received a task to create an AI-generated comic as part of the second round of the AInstein competition.

"Give hope to animals!" — this sentence has become more than a beautiful thought; it has turned into tangible support. As a foundation, we are truly happy to have been part of this program, and proud that our donation could help the daily work of shelters — to the joy of their residents. 😺🐶

The year 2026 is a special milestone in the life of the Németh Imre Foundation: it marks the 30th anniversary of its establishment. Three decades ago, the Foundation was created with the aim of supporting talent development, enhancing the quality of education, and building a bridge between students, the school, and the world of 21st-century...

In 2025, the focus of the Németh Imre Foundation was on innovative education, drone training, and talent development. At the beginning of the year, drone courses (A1/A3) were relaunched, while cooperation with the Chamber of Plant Protection Specialists opened the way to a free, 300-hour plant protection drone pilot training program.

This winter, the Gyulai SzC Kossuth Lajos Technical School once again invited students to take part in a community-based creative project. The goal of the winter classroom decoration initiative was to give the classrooms a festive atmosphere, while teams demonstrated excellence in creativity, cooperation, and sustainability.

In our new short film, students present our equipment. Did you know that the world of programming isn't just about writing lines of code? Developers are the ones who "bring ideas to life" and turn them into working applications.

Our foundation is pleased to publish a student essay that portrays the pedagogical greatness and humanity of Teacher Imre Németh—from the inside, through a student's perspective. The work won 2nd prize nationwide in 1988 in the Hungarian Agricultural Museum's competition "Hungarian Agriculture through Students' Eyes," and today it is a catalogued...

On 5 November 2025, IT took center stage at the Gyulai SzC Kossuth Lajos Technikum's event—presented by students, for students. Visitors could sit down next to the learners and try out what everyday coding practice feels like in real time.

Students and teachers celebrated the 200th anniversary of Mór Jókai's birth with a special flash mob: together they "wrote in the sky" Jókai's name and favorite quotes through a choreography of placards, books, and symbolic props. We welcomed visitors with real hands-on experiences and tech innovations at the Gyulai Vocational Training Center Kossuth Lajos Technikum Open Day, where the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation's equipment park once again took center stage. Students and parents happily explored future technologies, trying 3D printing, LEGO robots, and VR headsets.


Recently, several students from Orosháza received recognition for exceptional academic results, competition achievements, and community work.

Thanks to the cooperation between the school and the foundation, the NIA – Németh Imre Foundation again provided free A1/A3 drone pilot training this year for students of the Gyulai SzC Kossuth Lajos Technikum. At the end of the course, participating students passed their exams, allowing them to legally fly drones up to 25 kg across Europe.
